Aetherius is one of the two equal halves of Infinity — the totality of existence. Where Pandemonius embodies destruction, Aetherius embodies creation. Together they form the self-balancing duality on which the stability of all existence depends.
Aetherius is not goodness, and it is not the absence of darkness — it is the force of creation given dimensional form. A living worldspace, alive in the way that Infinity itself is alive: without consciousness, without will, but responsive and present and older than any event that can be named.
Aetherius is the source of creative magic. Creative magic is a category of force — not a moral distinction. Its nature, costs, and manifestations are recorded elsewhere in The Archive.
Earth exists outside the light/dark binary entirely. Humans cannot access creative magic on their own — the power of Aetherius is not available to the mortal world without intermediary.
Aetherius and Pandemonius are equal halves of Infinity. The balance between them is not imposed — it is the natural condition of a system in which both are required. Aetherius without Pandemonius would be creation without context, force without meaning.
Dimensional travel between Aetherius and Pandemonius is generally impossible. The sole exceptions are beings of specific origin whose nature is recorded in classified sections of The Archive.
