The function behind the Aethereal Stories universe.
These stories have been stuck in one head for twenty years.
Not waiting for permission. Not waiting for the market. Waiting to get out.
Aethereal Stories is what happens when you stop resisting. A universe plotted, structured, and now being released — novel by novel, soundtrack by soundtrack, entry by entry into the Archive. The Book of Thoth Saga is drafted in full, five volumes. The Aethereal Histories and the Aethereal Chronicles stand behind it, a wider mythology spanning creation, deep prehistory, Rome, the Saxon north, and the long twilight of the English crown.
Every word, every note, every image is made by a single hand. That is a description, not a boast. It is the only way work like this gets built without losing the thread.
Aethereal Stories sits at the intersection of mythology, folklore, and speculative fiction. Ancient legend collides with modern narrative. The supernatural sits just beneath the surface of the ordinary and, occasionally, breaks through.
The source material is eclectic: folklore and fable, Arthurian legend, the forgotten corners of English history — not the sanitised parade of kings and battles taught in schools, but the real thing. How people lived. How they thought. What they feared. The supernatural undercurrents running beneath the mundane.
Music is part of the work, not an accompaniment to it. The First War — the cosmic genesis of the universe — began as a single piece of music and grew outward. Each book carries an original soundtrack, composed to sit alongside the text and deepen its emotional weight.
Each book stands alone. Each book contributes to the tapestry. Every myth began with a battle. Every throne sits on shifting ground. Nothing in this universe was ever meant to be at peace — and it has only just begun.
The chronicler behind this universe is based in the UK, not far from the rain-soaked hills that became Hope's End. Beyond that, there is nothing worth saying here that the books do not say better.
The work is published under Aethereal Stories rather than a personal name because the universe is larger than any single identity attached to it, and because the freedom to write without constraint matters more than the recognition of writing it. The stories should stand on their own. This page will never be the interesting thing on this site.
